Hey, I'm Chubs!

I'm Captain Jordan, but let's be real, you can just call me Chubs. It's a nickname I got way back in the day (I'll let you figure out why!), and I've decided to proudly wear it ever since. Seriously, if I wasn't eating, sleeping, or breathing fishing and hunting, I wasn't really living.

My path to becoming a full-time guide started with a little mischief. I was working at a boat salvage company, but I kept my small flat-bottom boat nearby so I could sneak away and fish on my lunch breaks. Luckily, one of the managers, who ran a fishing charter, saw the passion—not just the sneaking! He offered me my first job as a Mate. Getting paid to chase muskies, bass, walleye, and perch? I was absolutely hooked from that moment on.

After high school, I tried to get a "real" job, signing on as a union electrician. It was an awesome trade, and I met some great people, but I couldn't stop thinking about the next cast or the next hunt. It got to the point where my true passion started getting in the way of the job I thought I should have.

So, I traded my tools for tackle and decided to chase the dream. Now, I guide full-time: fishing through the spring, summer, and fall, and hunting all winter long! I live for sharing the outdoors with people. If you want a fun, memory-making day on the water with your friends or family, give me a shout. You won't regret booking a trip with Chubs!
